Chairman of the Municipal Council of Tuzla, Nada Mladina received Irshad Manji

The Chairman of the Municipal Council of Tuzla, Nada Mladina received Irshad Manji today with warm greetings.

The Chairman of the Municipal Council of Tuzla, Nada Mladina received Irshad Manji today with warm greetings.  Irshad Manji is a world renowned Canadian author, invited by NGO Gariwo to promote her new book Allah, Liberty and Love in the Balkan regions.

Nada Mladina introduced Tuzla municipality and its history to Irshad, Mladina pointed out that Tuzla remains a major industrial and multicultural city in Bosnia-Herzegovina; with its coexistence spirits kept intact within communities, despite the end of the Bosnian conflict which had created many ethnically divided communities.

Mladina said that the appearance of Irshad Manji brings great honor to the city of Tuzla and its citizens; she then presented small gifts of appreciation to Irshad Manji and Svetlana Broz.
