Book launch Irshad Manji Allah, Liberty and Love in Tuzla

About 200 hundred people attended the evening book launch of Irshad Manji’s Allah, Liberty and Love, at the National Theatre of Tuzla.  Promoters of the book were Svetlana Broz, Prof. Dr. Besim Spahic, and Chairperson of the Municipal Council of Tuzla, Nada Mladina.

Nada Mladina, praised Irshad Manji in her brave new book for articulating the shared vision of building a freer, humane, tolerant and pluralistic and loving communities based on mutual respect regardless of religion or ethnicity. Inclusivity is the foundation to building a loving community, as intolerant, closed group community would only deny us the opportunity to lead a richer and fuller life in a diverse society.

She said that the book in many aspects speaks about social responsibilities and coexistence values living in the modern diverse world that many residents from Tuzla could identify with.

The book launch event was characterized by a relaxed atmosphere and open dialogue style of presentation. Many audiences had shown genuine interest in Irshad Manji’s new book, as reflected by the intense, interactive conversations shared between the audiences and the author.

Free distribution of Allah, Liberty and Love the book was made available by NGO Gariwo to residents of Tuzla who attended the book launch event.
